11 a.m - Press Conference

* Inauguration of the photo exhibition celebrating M’hamid Zamane and his glorious history

Joudour Sahara Site cultural center near Ksar Zaouia

5 p.m - Opening keynotes - Accompanied by traditional songs and dances.

8 p.m - Poetic evening and debates on the theme "poetry and nomadic life ..." in the presence of Moroccan, Algerian and Mauritanian poets.

11 p.m - 1 a.m : Talk-debate, acoustic music around the fire, Sahara legends and tales

Saturday May 22, 2021

11:00 am : Meet at the Laalouj kasbah (great kasbah which housed the foreign legion of the Saadian Sultans in the sixteenth century) for the start of a walk to the Ksours of: Talha, Oualad Mhia, Znaga and Zaouia Lahna. Lunch with the locals exchanges and debates on themes relating to water stress, desertification and resilience to Climate Change;

Field visits, exchanges with the population

3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. * various activities in the Ksours and Kasbahs:
Ahidous at Ksar Bounou
Rokba to Oulad Driss and Ksar Talha

Chamra and Guedra at the centre of M’hamid
Akalal and Daf at the ancien Ksar of M’hamid
Ganga at Ksar Oulad Mhia near Kasbah Sidi Khalil.
