The Great Moroccan South from Marrakech
Day 1: Marrakech / Aït Ben Haddou
Départ de Marrakech (véhicule 4×4) en début de matinée jusqu’à Aït Ben Haddou, en traversant le col de Tizi-n-Tichka dans les montagnes du Haut Atlas en passant par la commune de Telouet où vous visiterez sa célèbre Kasbah, une des anciennes résidences du Pacha Glaoui.
After lunch, visit the nearby salt mines and continue the circuit through the Ounila Valley, part of which was still used by the caravans that linked sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakech until the middle of the 20th century.
Arrival at the end of the afternoon in Aït Ben Haddou and visit of its superb Kasbah classified as World Heritage by UNESCO.
Installation in your hotel then dinner and overnight.



Day 2: Aït Ben Haddou / Dades Gorges
Depart from your hotel early in the morning towards the famous rock faces of the Dades Gorges by taking the kasbah route which crosses the city of Skoura, a fertile oasis bordered by immense palm groves.
We will join El Kelâa M’Gouna famous for its Festival of Roses which takes place every year in spring.
Continuation through the Valley of the Roses then the villages of Ait Saïd, Tourbist and Tamalout then Bou-Thahrar.
Promenade à pied le long de la rivière M’Goun, puis continuation vers la Kasbah d’Ait Youl dans la vallée du Dadès avec ses roches colorées et ses anciennes kasbahs. Arrivée dans votre maison d’hôtes en fin d’après-midi pour le dîner et la nuit.



Day 7: Ouarzazate / Marrakech
In the early morning return to Marrakech via the villages of Agouim and Ighrem in the High Atlas mountains.
Lunch on the way and arrival at your hotel in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.
